Job summary

The Children’s Guild is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to empower students with diverse needs at our Baltimore campus. You will design IEPs, apply differentiated instruction, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support student growth.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year in special education, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a patient, empathetic approach.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills essential for parent meetings and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IEPs based on student data and differentiated instruction.
  • Participate in meetings, PLCs, and ongoing supervision as part of a team.
  • Utilize PBIS and restorative practices to support behavior management.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers.
