Job summary

The Children’s Guild in Baltimore is seeking a compassionate Classroom Aide to provide direct, one-on-one support to students with special needs in a K–12 setting.

You will work with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals, participate in professional development, and help create a supportive learning environment for students with autism and related challenges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in special education preferred.
• Experience with students with autism or special needs is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Engage in family outreach and school activities.
• Assist with IEP goals and progress documentation.
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
