LearnWell is seeking a passionate and creative teacher in Columbus, OH, to provide academic support for adolescent patients in a residential behavioral health facility. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Columbus, OH on a year round basis. This unique position will involve working in a residential behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school‑age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school‑age patients at any one time.
Position entails a year round, 30‑hour a week commitment, Monday‑Friday, 8am-2pm.
