Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools is seeking a Teacher Assistant Toddler at our Morris Plains, NJ location. You will assist the lead teacher, guide toddler learners, and foster independence, curiosity and social development.

Responsibilities include keeping a safe classroom, helping implement activities, and tracking progress for families. The role runs weekdays 7:00am–1:00pm and offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Teacher Assistant Toddler

Location: Morris Plains, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 1:00pm

As a Teacher Assistant at an Apple Montessori School, you have the unique opportunity to cultivate your passion for working with children into a career in Early Childhood Education. Teacher Assistants work closely with their lead teachers to learn to guide your students while they explore their world. Our Teacher Assistants provide love, support and encouragement as the children try new experiences, make new friends and develop independence.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that all students enjoy a safe, sanitary and enjoyable learning environment.
