Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Teacher Assistant in North Carolina to support teachers and provide direct educational services to service users in the center. A High School diploma or GED with at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.

The position offers on-site work with benefits; salary is listed at $16.00 per hour. Training, background check, and pre-employment screening are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• A valid driver’s license in state of residence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher and conduct activities that meet the needs of each individual (Integrative Activities).
• Assure class schedules and other routines are followed; assist in developing activities for weekends and holidays.
• Assist in basic care of individuals, including instruction in such skills.
• Collect appropriate data as assigned; record progress of individuals as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
