Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Teacher Assistant in North Carolina to support teachers and provide direct educational services to service users in the center. A High School diploma or GED with at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.

The position offers on-site work with benefits; salary is listed at $16.00 per hour. Training, background check, and pre-employment screening are part of the process.

To assist teachers and provide direct educational services to the service users of the center/facility. Requires High School diploma or G.E.D. with at least one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Salary: $16.00/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Assist teacher and Conduct activities that meet the needs of each individual (Integrative Activities).

Required Education/Experience

Pre-employment screening

• Complete criminal background
• Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
