Apple Montessori Schools in Randolph, NJ is seeking a part-time Teacher Assistant for the preschool program. You will support Lead Teachers to nurture curiosity and independence in a Montessori setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean learning environment, assisting with lesson plans, and communicating with families. A high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification are required, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• A genuine love of children.
• Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children.
• An understanding of health and safety guidelines.
• Capacity to multi-task in a changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
