Apple Montessori Schools in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Infant and Preschool classes. This role supports Lead Teachers in a nurturing Montessori setting and helps children explore, grow, and build independence while maintaining a warm, encouraging atmosphere.

Responsibilities include assisting with lesson plans, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and communicating with families. A high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification are required or obtainable upon hire;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPR or First Aid certification or willingness to obtain after hire.
• Love of children and genuine desire to support early learning.
• Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull and carry children.

Teacher Assistant Infant and Preschool

Location: Paramus, NJ

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm OR 10:00 am to 6:30 pm

As a Teacher Assistant at Apple Montessori Schools, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your passion for working with children into a meaningful career in Early Childhood Education. You will work closely with Lead Teachers to support children as they explore, grow, and build independence in a nurturing Montessori environment. Our Teacher Assistants provide warmth, encouragement, and guidance as children try new experiences, form friendships, and develop confidence and curiosity.

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
