Reports To: Early Childhood Coordinator and Principal
Terms of Employment:Permanent, 10 Month Position
Under general supervision, the teacher assistant performs a variety of technical and clerical tasks in assisting a teacher. Employee may perform a wide range of tasks in order to support the efforts of the teacher, meet the needs of the students, and ensure the provision of quality instruction for all students. Employee provides one‑on‑one assistance with academics and behavioural problems and may lead small group activities. Employee assists lead teacher with general housekeeping and clerical duties.
