Job summary

Aspire of WNY in Cheektowaga, NY is seeking full-time teacher assistants to support children and young adults with developmental disabilities ages Pre-K to 21 at our Center for Learning. You will work with individual students or small groups, help develop learning experiences and materials, and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements: HS diploma and NYS ATAS or Level 1 TA certification. Hourly pay $19.10–$19.33.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and has passed the New York State Teacher Certification Exam (ATAS).
• Minimum of Level 1 Teacher Assistant Certification.

• Working with individual students or groups on special instructional projects and promote a positive learning environment.
• Assist the teacher with development of appropriate learning experiences and instructional materials and promote a positive learning environment.

Work in an EXCITING and MEANINGFUL field teaching children with developmental disabilities ages Pre‑K to 21 years old at our Center for Learning in Cheektowaga, NY.

We are currently seeking full time teacher assistants to join our team.

Responsibilities include working with individual students or groups of students on special instructional projects, assist the teacher with development of appropriate learning experiences and instructional materials and promotes a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and has passed the New York State Teacher Certification Exam (ATAS)
• Minimum of Level 1 Teacher Assistant Certification

Hourly rate of pay: $19.10 – $19.33/hr
