Aspire of Western New York's CFL in Cheektowaga, NY seeks a Teacher Assistant to support students with developmental disabilities from Pre-K to 21. You will work with individuals or groups and assist in preparing learning experiences. Candidates must have a high school diploma, pass the ATAS, and hold Level 1 Teacher Assistant certification.

Work in an exciting and meaningful field teaching children with developmental disabilities ages Pre-K to 21 years old.

Responsibilities for this position include working with individual students or groups of students on projects, assisting the teacher with development of appropriate learning experiences and instructional materials and promotes as positive learning environment.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and has passed the New York State Teacher Certification Exam (ATAS) and minimum of Level 1 Teacher Assistant Certification.
