The Summit Center is hiring a Teacher Assistant to support instructional delivery and ensure IEP mandates are met. You will assist with lesson plans, data collection, and classroom activities, helping implement behavior plans and home-school communication.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 1 year in a classroom setting, and NYS Teacher Assistant or Teaching Certificate within six months of hire. The center offers a supportive environment and benefits.

Pay: $22.66/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Your Impact as a Teacher Assistant

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: New York State Teaching Assistant Certificate or New York State Teaching Certificate (if you do not currently posses the certificate, you must obtain it within six months of hire)
