Ce poste à temps plein à Riverdale Early Childhood Center implique d'assister dans la gestion de la classe, d'encadrer les élèves et de collaborer avec une équipe interdisciplinaire pour atteindre les objectifs d'apprentissage. Les candidats doivent posséder un diplôme de lycée et une certification d'assistant d'enseignement de l'État de New York.
Assist the Teacher and related service staff by following instructions, modeling behaviors, and integrating input from interdisciplinary teams for instruction, behavior management, and language facilitation.
Support student attainment of IEP goals by helping with daily program planning and organizing the physical environment.
Perform classroom and school-wide duties related to organization, maintenance, and instruction within the classroom and module.
Participate as a member of the classroom and interdisciplinary teams, attending meetings and school functions as assigned by the Teacher, Supervisor, or Principal.
Supervise the class when the Teacher temporarily leaves the room.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and school policies, maintain proper documentation, and submit required paperwork timely.
Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with team members, parents, staff, supervisors, administrators, and outside agencies.
Demonstrate open communication, flexibility, team-building skills, self-evaluation, problem-solving, and willingness to assist others.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED
Certificates & Licenses: Possession of New York State Continuing Teaching Assistant Certification or Level I, II, or III NYS Certified Teaching Assistant Certification.
Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
