ABOUT US: Miami Valley Child Development Centers is southwest Ohio's Head Start Agency. For over 55 years, we've been providing FREE early learning and childcare to children from 6 weeks to age 5. Our two-generational approach builds family well-being by working with children and their families to access resources, solve problems, and develop skills. We collaborate with Family Support Specialists, Home Visitors, and Coaches. Eligibility is typically based on income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level, with additional considerations for children experiencing homelessness, foster or kinship care, and some children with disabilities. We operate at over 27 locations across Montgomery, Clark, and Madison counties.
CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Full-Year, Non-Exempt.
BASIC FUNCTIONS: As a Teacher Aide, you will support the planning and implementation of curriculum and daily activities suitable for young children. You will assist with classroom routines and support children individually or in small groups, ensuring compliance with ODJFS, USDA, and health regulations.
MINIMUM CREDENTIALS: High School Diploma or GED.
