Strategic Kids LLC is seeking Teacher Aides to support K–12 students with disabilities in public and charter schools near the Monterey Peninsula. You will work directly with students in classrooms 1:1 and in small groups to help them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
The position offers a part-time schedule (3-5 days/week), with pay rates of $21-$23 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting teachers, bus duty, and collaboration with families to support student plans.

We're hiring Teacher Aides to support K–12 students with disabilities in public and charter schools near the Monterey Peninsula. You’ll work directly with students in classrooms 1:1 and in small groups helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Provide individualized support to students with special education needs.
Assist teachers with classroom management and activities.
Ride the school bus with students as needed.
Support students TK-12th and Adult Transition (18-22 years old) as needed.
Use positive reinforcement and structured behavior management.
Collaborate with staff and families to implement student support plans.
At least 3 months of experience working or volunteering with children
Strong communication, patience, and positive reinforcement skills.
Ability to adapt to varying student needs and maintain composure under pressure.
High school diploma or equivalent (education students encouraged to apply).
CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed).
Must be 18 years or older
Students pursuing Education / Child development / Psychology coursework or degrees encouraged to apply
Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, tutoring, or youth mentoring
