Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ParaPro Certification and/or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Prior experience working with children in a school/classroom setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, behavioral support, or emotional development is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lessons, activities, and instructional support.
• Help create and maintain a structured, organized, and student-centered classroom environment.
• Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed, including working with students with special needs or behavioral/emotional challenges.
• Encourage student participation, confidence, and independence.
• Communicate student progress and concerns with teachers and staff as appropriate.

Hours & Compensation

• School Year Schedule: Monday through Friday during regular school hours
• Summer School Schedule: Monday through Thursday, part-time school hours

Position Overview

As a Teacher's Aide or Educational Instructional Aide, you will work closely with classroom teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for students.
