Job summary

Strategic Kids LLC is seeking Instructional Assistants and Campus Supervisors to support K–6 students across Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. You will assist teachers, supervise meals and recess, and help maintain a safe, positive school environment.

The role requires 3 months of Child-related experience, strong communication, patience, and the ability to adapt to diverse student needs. CPR/First Aid certification is provided if needed. 18+ and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of experience working or volunteering with children.
• Strong communication, patience, and positive reinforcement skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and maintain composure under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent (education students encouraged to apply).
• CPR/First Aid certification provided if needed.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Strategic Kids is Hiring Instructional Assistants & Campus Supervisors! (Start Date: Monday August 17, 2026)

Location: Newport Beach to Costa Mesa

Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Employment Type: Part-Time

Schedule:

5 days per week, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.– 2:00 p.m. (3 - 5 hours per day)

Overview

We're hiring Instructional Assistants / Campus Supervisors to support K–6 students in public and charter schools throughout Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. As an Instructional Assistant and Campus Supervisor, you'll support teachers in general education classrooms, work one-on-one and in small groups to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, and supervise students during breakfast, snacks, lunch, and recess to help maintain a safe and positive school environment.

Responsibilities

Assist teachers with classroom management and activities.

Provide individualized support for 1-3 K-6 general education students as needed.
