Job summary

Job description

Provide instructional and classroom support to student with disabilities under the direction of certified special education and general education teachers. Assist teachers in implementing students' individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including accommodations, modifications, instructional strategies, and behavior supports.

Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce classroom instruction, promote academic and social development, and support students' successful participation in the general education environment. Assist with classroom organization, instructional materials, data collection, and supervision as assigned. Work under the general supervision of the campus principal and the immediate direction of certified teachers.
