Job summary

One River School of Art + Design in Westport seeks a Contemporary Art Teacher for Kids and Teens to lead dynamic weekly classes on Saturdays and Sundays, guiding students through painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media in a bright, contemporary space.

You will use a thoughtfully designed curriculum, with materials provided, to foster experimentation, confidence, and a love of art, while communicating growth with families.

Qualifications

• A practicing or highly engaged artist with teaching experience.
• Willingness to teach kids and teens in a studio setting.
• Ability to communicate with families about student progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead dynamic, hands-on weekly art classes for students (Saturdays and Sundays).

Contemporary Art Teacher (Kids and Teens)
