Job summary

Catholic Family and Community Services in Paterson, NJ, seeks a dedicated Pre-School Teacher to support our state-mandated preschool program.

Plan, organize, and implement instruction with Creative Curriculum; ensure student development is documented; and uphold licensing and district requirements. Full-time hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-3:00pm.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required for classroom communication and documentation.
• Bilingual (Spanish and/or Arabic) preferred to support diverse families.
• Preschool-3 teaching certification or CE/CEAS.
• Familiarity with ECERS, NAEYC, and Creative Curriculum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement instructional studies using Creative Curriculum guidelines.
• Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Adhere to licensing and school district requirements and maintain proper documentation.

Job Summary:

Plan, organize, and implement instructional studies in accordance with guidelines from Creative Curriculum’s The System. Properly document the social/emotional, physical, language/literacy, mathematic, and cognitive development of all students. Supervise and insure the safety and well-being of students at all times. Adhere to all licensing and school district requirements.

Full-Time Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

• Teacher of Preschool through Grade 3 Standard Certificate, CE or CEAS
• Familiarity with ECERS, NAEYC, Creative Curriculum preferred
• Strong oral and written English language skills
• Bilingual (Spanish and/or Arabic) preferred
• An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex work place
