Job summary

Yoga Joint New York is hiring a Teacher to lead Flow and FIIT classes at our Manhattan and Brooklyn studios. Compensation is $75–$105 base per hour, with competitive per-head bonus opportunities. Employment can be full-time or part-time, non-exempt.

We seek instructors who command a room, create experiences, and contribute to a fast-growing brand. NASM or RYT-200 certification and U.S. work authorization are required; equity-sharing, benefits, PTO, and guest memberships are offered.

What You’ll Do

• Successfully complete ongoing evaluations and attend any required ongoing trainings

What We’re Looking For

• Deliver first class teaching to clients while maintaining the distinct Yoga Joint aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture.
• NASM certified and/or RYT-200
• Confident, dynamic, and motivating presence
• Desire to be a part of a founding team in a rapidly growing brand
• Ability to teach in a heated (90°F+) environment
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and peak times
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Classes are held in infrared heated studios with moderate to loud noise. Role includes standing, movement, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, and may include indoor/outdoor events both inside and outside of the studio. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee may be required to work with yoga props, cleaning supplies, and studio equipment and may experience physical exertion due to the nature of the instruction environment. Shifts may involve sustained physical activity, multiple classes per day, and limited recovery time between classes. This role may also include participation in off-site or outdoor marketing and community events, which may last several hours and may take place in varying indoor or outdoor environments and weather conditions.
