Responsibilities include planning classes, ensuring safety, and tailoring sequences for various formats. Relevant certifications and CPR/First Aid are required or pursued. Flexibility and a student-first mindset are essential.

Qualificações

• 200-hour RYT certification from a Yoga Alliance-accredited program.
• Prior experience teaching group yoga classes in a studio or fitness facility.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to teach multiple yoga styles is a plus.

• Plan and lead engaging yoga classes for varying skill levels.
• Create a safe, welcoming studio environment for all participants.
• Demonstrate proper alignment, breathing techniques, and pose modifications.
• Monitor students and provide hands-on adjustments and cues to prevent injury.
• Develop class sequences and curricula for formats (Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative).
• Build relationships with members to encourage retention and attendance.
• Stay current with yoga trends, certifications, and continuing education.

The Fitness Factory Group LLC is looking for a passionate and energetic Yoga Instructor to join our growing team in New York, NY! Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead engaging yoga classes for students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive studio environment for all participants
• Demonstrate proper alignment, breathing techniques, and modifications for poses (asanas)
• Monitor students and provide hands-on adjustments and verbal cues to prevent injury
• Develop class sequences and curriculum tailored to specific class formats (Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, etc.)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members to encourage retention and class attendance
• Stay current with yoga trends, certifications, and continuing education in fitness and wellness

Requirements:

• 200-hour RYT certification from a Yoga Alliance-accredited program (500-hour preferred)
• Prior experience teaching group yoga classes in a studio or fitness facility setting
• Strong knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and injury prevention
• Excellent verbal communication and motivational skills
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a student-first mindset
• Ability to teach multiple yoga styles is a plus
