HMB Professional Engineers, LLC is seeking a CEI Project Manager in Nashville, TN to lead CEI initiatives on TDOT projects. The role requires coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and serving as the primary client liaison.

You will mentor field staff, review construction documents, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving quality and safety standards across projects. This position supports hybrid work arrangements.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)
• 10+ years CEI experience with TDOT projects
• Proven CEI project leadership and multidisciplinary team experience
• Strong TDOT standards, specs, and procedures knowledge
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills

Mansioni

• Manage CEI projects from initiation to closeout per TDOT and municipality requirements
• Serve as main client contact, including TDOT personnel, contractors and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor Project Administrators, Senior Inspectors and field staff
• Provide leadership and oversight of CEI teams across multiple projects
• Review and approve construction documents, reports, pay estimates and changes
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate field activities, inspections, testing and project closeout
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resource allocation
• Lead project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and clients
• Support business development and client relationship management
• Oversee staff training and performance management
