Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos in Williamsburg, MI is seeking an on-call Banquet Server to support banquet operations. The role requires availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, including weekends and holidays, to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should be able to lift heavy trays, work with a lead server and kitchen staff, and deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one-year experience preferred.
• Must be TIPS Certified or able to pass certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with lead server and kitchen team members.
• Service guests upon arrival to the banquet areas.
• Lift and carry heavy trays of food, beverage, dishes, glasses, and supplies (i.e. Linen, bus tubs, centerpieces, chaffing dishes etc.).

JOB SUMMARY

The banquet server is responsible for banquet needs including set up, breakdown and cleanup of buffet and beverage areas. The servers’ goals will be to provide “seamless”, professional, and courteous service in a fast-paced exciting environment. This position requires the employee to be available mornings, afternoons and evenings, including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
