Job summary

Tulalip Resort Casino is seeking a Cashier/Soft Count associate to perform soft count duties in accordance with department policies. You will handle money accurately and efficiently, supporting guest service and revenue integrity at the property.

Candidates should have basic math skills and at least six months of cash handling and customer service experience. Training in guest services or cash handling is a plus, and the ability to pass a Tribal Gaming background check is required.

• Guest Service and/or Cash Handling training may be considered in lieu of experience.

Performs Soft Count duties according to department policy and procedures. Accurately and quickly handles a variety of money.

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of Guest Service and/or Cash Handling training may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.

SKILLS:

• Must have good math skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of six (6) months cash handling experience or successful completion of training.
• Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience or successful completion of training.
• Currency machine handling experience preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21years of age or older.
• General knowledge of personal computer.
• Mustbe flexible to work at Tulalip Resort Casino, Quil Ceda Creek Casino and Tulalip Bingo & Slots.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
• Must be available to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends, and/or holidays
• Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
