Job summary

New Wave People is seeking experienced TBM Expense Transparency Consultants to support IT financial transparency across the IT landscape, including Product Management, Infrastructure & Operations, Cybersecurity, and other IT service towers. This role strengthens cost transparency, accountability, and the linkage between IT services, cost drivers, and business value.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days on-site near NYC and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Experience in TBM, IT financial management, or cost transparency initiatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data modeling, formulas, pivoting, automation).
• Ability to collaborate with IT, Finance, and business stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into insights for non-financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead TBM Expense Transparency activities across IT divisions with consistent reporting and cost modeling.
• Develop and refine TBM financial models and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with Service Owners to validate inputs and align cost structures.
• Maintain and support spend insights reporting for stakeholders.
• Refine TBM allocation methodologies to improve accuracy and defensibility.
• Ensure clarity of financial reporting through data source optimization.
