Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. is seeking a TBI SME (MID-LEVEL PROVIDER - CPCR) to support patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations.

The position may work in inpatient, outpatient and research situations and performs independently or as part of a treatment team. Knowledge of TBI and statistics required. This position will be in support of the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE) in Silver Spring, MD, a DHA DoD

Qualifications

• NP or PA license with state licensure required.
• 5–10 years of healthcare and healthcare research experience.
• Experience with TBI; DoD/VA systems preferred.
• Board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams, order tests and medications.
• Diagnose, treat and consult on patient care as part of a team.
• Educate patients about preventive care and prescribed treatments.
• Serve as a patient’s primary healthcare provider within inpatient, outpatient or research settings.
• Work independently or as part of a treatment team.
