Job summary

Dept of State Health Services in Austin, TX, seeks an Epidemiology and Surveillance Manager to lead the TB and Hansen’s disease surveillance program. You will oversee staff, set goals, and coordinate data-driven activities to protect public health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in epidemiology or public health.
• At least three years' work experience in epidemiologic data analysis and reporting.
• Must have experience using SAS statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, hire, supervise TB Epidemiology and Surveillance staff.
• Direct, coordinate and evaluate daily TB epidemiology operations.
• Maintain statewide TB/HD workforce training and standards.
