Vergence in Indianapolis is seeking a hybrid TB education and training specialist. You will educate local health departments, providers, and the public about tuberculosis and lead education activities with TB control partners.

You will train LHD staff, prepare reports and materials, and develop outreach toolkits for civil surgeons, shelters, primary care providers, and infection control practitioners. You will also present to diverse audiences and participate in grant writing to support ongoing

Qualificações

• Bachelor's in public health education, community health education, public health, education, health science, or a behavioral health-related field.
• Knowledge of the epidemiology and biology of tuberculosis.

Responsabilidades

• Educate and train local health departments, health care providers, and the public on tuberculosis.
• Lead or coordinate TB education activities and events with partners.
• Assist in training LHD staff on TB and disseminate updated materials.
• Prepare reports, handouts, TB newsletters, and presentations for partners.
• Develop outreach resources and toolkits for civil surgeons, shelters, and providers.
• Deliver educational presentations to diverse audiences including the public.
• Engage with the public at health fairs and outreach events.
• Act as liaison with state and national health organizations on education and training.
• Support grant writing and funding proposals.
• Assist the Prevention & Care Director with professional development planning.
