Job summary

H&R Block in Lucedale, MS is seeking an entry-level tax professional to assist with client interviews, data entry, and assembling tax returns during peak season. You will help gather information, ensure accuracy, and review the completed product with clients, providing friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
