Talent Harbor in Plano, TX is seeking a Paraplanner on a CPA track to join a fee-only financial planning and accounting firm serving dental professionals. The role blends tax work with personal planning and offers a clear path toward Associate and Senior Planner.

You’ll prepare and review personal and small business tax returns, support client consultations, and analyze cash flow, tax, retirement, investments, and estate planning.

Qualifications

• CPA, or at least 3 CPA exam sections passed, with a plan to complete the credential.
• 2+ years of personal and/or business tax preparation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
• Comfortable working directly with clients, with a professional and respectful communication style.
• Coachable, eager to learn and team-first.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review personal and small business tax returns.
• Prepare for annual client consultations and monitoring calls with Senior Planners.
• Organize and analyze client data across cash flow, tax, retirement, investments, insurance and estate planning.
• Review and reconcile monthly accounting records for some clients.
• Research and answer client questions when Senior Planners are unavailable.
• Grow through structured training and mentorship to prepare for client meetings.
