Job summary

DoorDash seeks a Senior Manager, Tax Technology Implementations to own the technical plan across domains and the indirect tax calculation service. You will translate indirect tax requirements into engineer-facing work and maintain a single consolidated program view for Tax and Engineering leadership.

You’ll influence partner teams, define integration scope, drive critical-path decisions, and ensure testing, rollout, and runbooks are in place for successful implementations across three brands and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a corporate tax department, public accounting, or technology consulting.
• Global or multi-country indirect tax implementation experience with non-US regimes.
• Hands-on experience implementing marketplace facilitator laws across jurisdictions.
• Program or project management across multiple dependent engineering teams with milestones.
• Ability to read a technical design document and judge its viability against tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Author tax requirements and acceptance criteria for engineers.
• Define integration scope, critical path, and downstream implications.
• Influence engineering, product, and tax on roadmaps and priorities.
• Define testing, monitoring, rollout, go/no-go, and rollback criteria.
• Maintain the integrated plan as truth and report status to leadership.
