Job summary

Ryan seeks a Senior Manager, Tax Technology to lead complex indirect tax technology implementations for enterprise clients, focusing on ERP integration, tax engine deployment, and business process transformation. This role oversees multiple engagements from planning through production deployment, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and adherence to Ryan’s standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience integrating SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA with Vertex O Series or OneSource

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, IT, or related field.
• Experience leading indirect tax technology implementations at a consulting firm or SI.
• CPA or PMP designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex indirect tax technology implementations from start to finish, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Serve as trusted advisor to client tax, finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Manage engagement scope, budgets, staffing, and risk across multiple projects.
• Develop delivery methodologies, reusable assets, and quality standards.
• Support business development and client presentations.
