Job summary

Ryan is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax Technology to lead complex indirect tax technology implementations for enterprise clients, focusing on ERP integration, tax engine deployment, and business process transformation. The role involves planning, delivery, and adherence to Ryan’s delivery standards while developing consulting professionals.

Remote or hybrid work arrangements are eligible, with periodic travel to support client engagements and team collaboration. CPA/PMP are considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree and 7–10 years of indirect tax automation/implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple full-cycle enterprise software implementations.
• Extensive knowledge of indirect tax software (Vertex O Series or OneSource).
• ERP knowledge in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA related to tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex indirect tax technology implementations from initiation through deployment and post-go-live support.
• Serve as trusted advisor to client tax, finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders.
• Oversee implementation lifecycle including requirements, design, configuration, testing, cutover and hypercare.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and risks across engagements.
