Job summary

Baratz & Associates P.A. in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead and review tax engagements in person. You will mentor staff and coordinate complex returns for individuals, fiduciaries, corporate and partnership entities, with ASC 740 and ASC 718 emphasis.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with partners and clients. A Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA pursuit, plus public accounting in a small to mid-sized firm, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5-8 years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Pursuing or holding CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, corporations, and partnerships.
• Advise on ASC 740 and ASC 718 matters, including stock compensation and business combinations.
• Review Form 990 and related schedules; prepare financial statements and management letters.
• Mentor staff, delegate tasks, and communicate with partners and clients.
