Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join its growing tax practice. The role focuses on mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and advising on complex tax matters.

You will lead engagements from planning through delivery with a strong emphasis on quality and timeliness. Ideal candidates have 4-7+ years of public accounting tax experience, a CPA/EA/JD credential, and a drive to grow into broader leadership responsibilities within a nationally recognized firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA, EA, or JD required.
• 4-7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience with corporate, partnership, and pass-through taxation preferred.
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Desire to grow into broader leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Lead tax engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Research and resolve complex federal and state tax issues.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advisory support to clients.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships and ongoing tax matters.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and senior staff.
• Review workpapers, provide coaching, and support team development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with firm leadership and specialists on advanced tax issues.
• Participate in business development, networking, and market visibility efforts.
