BFS Associates Inc. in Boston, MA seeks an experienced Senior Tax Advisor to develop tax strategies, oversee fund and corporate tax matters, and partner across the organization to support business growth.

The Director of Tax will guide on fund formation, cross-border planning, transfer pricing, and executive tax matters, while managing external advisors and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax.
• CPA required; MST, JD, or LLM in Taxation preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in investment management and corporate tax.
• Big Four or national public accounting experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, fund taxation, cross-border matters.
• Proven ability to build teams and influence senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead the tax function, including strategy, governance, processes, and team development.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate tax implications of new products, strategies, and fund structures.
• Advise on partnership tax planning, executive tax matters, and tax-efficient structures.
• Oversee corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and regulatory reporting.
• Provide strategic oversight of cross-border tax and transfer pricing initiatives.
• Monitor emerging tax legislation and advise leadership on business impacts.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulators.
