Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC in Florida is seeking a Tax Staff to service diverse clients and prepare basic and intermediate tax returns. You will interact with project in-charges and clients, research issues, and organize workpapers to support federal, multi-state, and partnership filings.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA eligibility preferred, and flexibility for travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• MBA/CPA may be considered a plus; CPA eligibility encouraged.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software required.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.
• Ability to work moderate overtime during busy cycles.

Responsibilities

• Engage and serve clients from various industries.
• Communicate with project in-charges and clients.
• Develop tax knowledge while preparing basic and intermediate individual tax returns.
• Prepare federal and multi-state corporate tax returns and basic partnership returns.
• Research fundamental tax issues using online tools.
• Prepare and organize workpapers for client files.
• Perform other essential duties as needed.
