NHCO seeks a Site Coordinator for its Free Tax Prep Program in the Pittsburgh area. You will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, schedule tax-prep sessions, and ensure IRS Quality Site standards are met while delivering high-quality service to low-income clients.

The role provides oversight of all preparation activities and maintains site readiness. The position is seasonal, with evenings and Saturday mornings required, and involves collaboration with NHCO staff and community partners to

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate volunteer trainings and certifications for IRS Volunteer Advanced and Site Coordinator.
• Recruit, schedule, train, and support volunteer tax preparers during tax season.
• Manage VITA tax sites and ensure IRS Quality Site Requirements compliance.
• Oversee appointment schedules and workflows for efficient site operations.
• Ensure confidentiality and IRS Code of Conduct compliance for all volunteers.
• Oversee preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and file electronically.
• Provide guidance to volunteers and clients on tax questions with high service standards.
• Promote the Free Tax Prep Program and assist with outreach efforts.
