The Role

As a Tax Technology and Transformation Manager, you will oversee the delivery of tax technology solutions, process improvements, and automation initiatives to enhance client tax operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale tax transformation projects and managed services
• Lead digital tax transformation initiatives
• Develop tax technology strategies and roadmaps
• Implement and configure tax systems
• Review analytics and reporting, advising on enhancements
• Support tax operating model transformations
• Develop custom tax systems and automation processes
• Coordinate project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints
• Identify operational efficiencies and risk mitigation strategies

Skills and Attributes

• Ownership and project management skills
• Automation and process improvement expertise
• Understanding of integrated work plans and dependency analysis
• Experience embedding tax requirements into financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
• Technical skills in testing, debugging, and coding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related fields
• 5+ years relevant experience or 2-3 years with a master’s degree
• Certifications: CPA, JD, Six Sigma, PMP, or related
• Experience with financial services industry and tax software
