The Opportunity

As a Tax Technology and Transformation Manager, you will lead projects that implement and optimize tax technology solutions, enhance processes, and improve tax operations' efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale tax transformation programs and digital initiatives.
• Develop and oversee tax technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead the implementation of tax systems and automation projects.
• Review analytics, reporting, and advise on enhancements.
• Support tax operating model transformations and custom system development.
• Ensure project scope, budget, and schedules are met.
• Identify operational improvements, including automation and risk mitigation.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Understand key tax processes, data, and technology risks.

Skills and Attributes

• Ownership and project management skills, including requirements gathering, testing, and configuration.
• Experience automating manual tasks and integrating systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
• Technical proficiency in developing test cases, debugging, and coding.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; Master’s preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience, or two-three with a master’s degree.
• Certifications such as CPA, JD, Six Sigma, PMP, or related advanced degrees.
• Experience in financial services, tax software, or process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management experience, leadership skills, and excellent communication.
• Knowledge of tax technology solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex).
• Technical skills in application development and ERP systems.
