Job summary

EY is seeking a services manager in the Financial Services Organization’s EDGE Tax practice to deliver tax compliance and advisory work for hedge funds, private equity, and asset managers.

You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals on structuring, planning, and advisory services while leading projects and mentoring team members. EY offers a flexible hybrid model and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, tax, law, or economics.
• Minimum of 5 years in a professional services or tax services organization in financial services.
• CPA / EA or licensed attorney.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation; state and local tax knowledge.
• Proficient with tax and accounting technologies.
• Strong teamwork, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting work for clients.
• Elevate problem areas to ensure timely and accurate tax returns, research, and projects.
• Consult with clients and escalate complex matters to seniors and subject-matter experts.
• Lead projects and work independently with guidance in complex situations.
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons and trust teams.
