Job summary

EY is seeking a Services Manager within the Financial Services EY EDGE Wealth and Asset Management team to deliver tax compliance and advisory work for clients in a globally connected environment. You will collaborate with hedge funds, private equity and mutual funds teams while shaping tax strategy and planning.

You will lead engagements, mentor staff, and partner with senior professionals to provide client-centric tax solutions across federal and multi-state taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization in the financial services industry.
• CPA, EA or licensed attorney.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation and state/local tax.
• Proficient in tax and accounting technologies.
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting work for clients.
• Recognize and elevate problem areas to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns and projects.
• Consult with clients and escalate complex matters to senior management.
• Lead projects and work independently, with guidance in complex situations.
• Manage communications with client tax liaisons and trust teams.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and manage workflow.
• Oversee engagement deliverables and team resources to meet deadlines.
• Provide leadership, feedback and coaching to team members.

Skills
