Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Senior Manager in Boca Raton, FL to deliver industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services to middle-market clients. You will mentor staff, work with firm leadership, and help grow client engagements while maintaining high-quality service.

You will lead day-to-day tax matters, coordinate with specialty practices, and contribute to the firm’s growth and knowledge development within a fast-growing advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law; CPA or JD desired.
• Eight (8)+ years’ experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry specific clients.
• Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters with various clients ranging from middle market to multinational.
• Consult on technical matters and special projects in tax areas including corporate and flow-through taxation, ASC740.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with client recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters (state/local, international, credits, incentives).
• Manage client engagement staffing, billing/collections, and ensure profitability targets.
• Network and build relationships to acquire new clients and revenue.
• Support professional development and mentoring of staff.
