Job summary

Talent Match Recruiting seeks a Tax Senior Manager/Director to lead tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations and trusts in a thriving Phoenix CPA firm.

You will manage engagements, review complex returns, mentor staff, grow client relationships, and provide strategic tax planning while maintaining exceptional service and work-life balance in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 8 years of recent public accounting tax experience including preparing/reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Experience in year-end tax planning for individuals and corporations required.
• Must have active CPA, EA, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage client engagements and staff to deliver high-quality tax work on time and on budget.
• Review complex tax returns for multi-state, federal, international, and trust scenarios.
• Provide strategic tax guidance and planning to clients, researching issues as needed.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, and mentor junior staff.
