Whitley Penn, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm, seeks a Senior Tax Manager to oversee multiple client engagements, supervise staff, and drive revenue opportunities. The role emphasizes client-relations, technical tax expertise, and team development in a hybrid environment.

The Senior Tax Manager will review complex returns, manage risk, and lead engagements while mentoring staff and contributing to practice development.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in public accounting with growing tax return complexity and research.
• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as liaison between partner, client, and staff.
• Manage multiple tax returns and client engagements concurrently.
• Review/prepare tax returns (1065, 1040, 1120, 1120S) and quarterly estimates.
• Develop comprehensive client service plans with the team.
• Monitor engagement economics and coordinate workflow.
• Identify and research tax issues to ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws.
