Whitley Penn, one of the nation's leading audit, tax, and advisory firms, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead multiple client engagements from our San Antonio office. The Senior Manager serves as liaison between partners, clients, and staff and drives tax planning, compliance, and practice development.

This role requires a CPA license, 7+ years in public accounting, and a strategic, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in public accounting with tax return complexity and research.
• Active CPA license.
• Extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code and tax laws.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client service skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as liaison between partner, client and staff and manage multiple engagements.
• Review and prepare tax returns (various forms), estimates, extensions, and projections.
• Develop client service plans and manage engagement economics.
• Guide and coach staff; lead practice development efforts.
