Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Senior to join our SoCal tax practice in the Irvine area. You will prepare, supervise, and review individual and entity engagements, and work closely with clients to deliver customized tax advisory services.

The role emphasizes engagement management and developing junior staff, with opportunities to expand technical knowledge through client interactions and training. A CPA (or EA) license or eligibility, plus 2+ years in public accounting, are required.

Qualifications

• Requires CPA (or EA) license or eligibility to sit for CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement.
• At least 2 years' experience as an associate in public accounting.
• Ability to supervise and review engagements and provide tax advisory insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to build careers.
