Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team based in Minneapolis. You will coordinate engagements, supervise compliance and tax planning, and prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting with 4+ years in tax in public accounting; a Master’s in Taxation or CPA/Enrolled Agent is preferred. ProSystems FX, CCH Engagement, and XCM experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or mix of public/private
• Experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts/estates, and entities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field; Master’s in Taxation preferred
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred or in progress

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and supervise engagements including consulting, compliance, and tax planning services
• Prepare federal, state, multi-state and international income tax returns
• Research and plan according to applicable tax laws and regulations
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices as needed
• Communicate with clients as directed by Manager; work as part of an integrated team
• Assist with training and mentoring interns and associates
