Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of partnership tax experience with institutional funds.
• Experience preparing Forms 1065 and Schedules K-1.
• Working knowledge of book-to-tax adjustments and partnership allocations.
• Familiarity with multi-state and foreign partner reporting (Forms 1042 and 8805).
• Clear, professional communication with institutional clients.
• Instinct to question processes and use AI/automation to improve them.
• CPA, EA, or progress toward certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review partnership returns and Schedules K-1 for institutional venture capital and private equity funds.
• Run book-to-tax adjustments from fund trial balances and financial statements.
• Import and validate per-partner allocation schedules and capital account rollforwards.
• Reconcile prior-year returns and data for funds migrating from other administrators.
• Prepare multi-state, composite, and foreign partner withholding filings.
• Answer institutional GP and LP questions on timing, estimates, and K-1 detail.
• Test new platform functionality with Engineering and report issues clearly.
• Look at existing processes and ask whether AI and automation could do them better.
